We recently shared with you a cool new initiative called Together Counts, which encourages families to eat their meals together and engage in physical activities together to help reduce obesity and achieve balanced, healthy lifestyles. As Together Counts spells out, it’s all about “…energy balance, which means balancing the calories we consume with the calories we burn. Calories in, calories out.”
The Together Counts map is starting to populate with families across the country. Top states so far are California, New York, Texas, Illinois and Florida. Participating families can get tips and take advantage of tools to track their progress. A mobile app allows access to log and track progress from anywhere.
