Yet to come before Woodstock concluded were The Who and Jimi Hendrix.  Like many others, we reflected last year on this transforming generational event.   We also took notice of two innovations available today that didn’t exist then – recycling and access to bottled water.  We at Sip & Savor are proud of the role beverage industry plays in these contributions.  Here’s what we observed on Woodstock’s 40th anniversary.

And while we won’t see the Sip & Savor hometown Washington Redskins take the field this weekend for Super Bowl XLIV, we will see two great teams – the New Orleans Saints and the Indianapolis Colts – battling it out in an epic championship matchup.

No matter what your game day ritual includes, we’re guessing that beverages will play a part. Our member companies have long participated in the tradition of the Super Bowl by running memorable ads throughout the game. This year will surely prove no different.

Dr Pepper Snapple Group will run its first Super Bowl ad ever! It will promote Dr Pepper Cherry alongside legendary rockers KISS and MiniKISS (a KISS tribute band whose members are all little people) – you can click here for a preview before Sunday!

And The Coca-Cola Company will run an ad featuring characters from the popular TV show “The Simpsons.” Check out a sneak peak and share with your friends on Twitter and Facebook.
