Painting a Picture of Science & the News

Sometimes a picture can say things much more powerfully and clearly than words. If you wonder why you wake up every day to a new “health alert” about some food product not being good for you – and awake the next day to another report saying that same product is indeed good for you, check out the editorial cartoon below.

Scarily, it’s art imitating reality too closely. It’s also a reminder to not be afraid to question science, the motives behind it and how researchers came to their conclusions. And check out the folks at PHD Comics who created this editorial cartoon.
