100% Juice and Juice Drinks

Juice from “A” to “OJ”

“A” is for apple, OJ is self-explanatory and the rest of the 100% juice and juice drinks beverage alphabet is just as juicy.

Americans want variety and taste in the beverage products they consume. Nowhere is that desire more pronounced than in the juice and juice-based drink product category. One-hundred percent juice and juice drink beverage producers, marketers, bottlers and distributors have gone to the grove, ambled to the orchard and veered to the vine to bring their customers the 100% juice and juice drink flavors they desire.

“A” is for apple and “OJ” is for orange juice. Yet the cooler at your neighborhood deli or the shelf at the supermarket is packed with so many more choices: orange, mango, strawberry, grape, banana, cranberry, guava, kiwi and more. If that is not enough variety, innovative companies offer multiple combinations of fruit flavors to provide consumers with the exact taste they want.

Juice-based beverages offer more than taste. Many drinks provide nutrients and minerals and can be an excellent source for certain vitamins. Some products are 100% juice, while others may contain as little as 5% juices. Some of these beverages are consumed to help provide vitamins and promote health, while others are mostly for refreshment and taste.

Many of today’s most popular juices and juice-based products are made and marketed by the same companies that produce the world’s leading soft drinks, teas, sports drinks and waters.
